Pupil Premium/PE funding
Information about Pupil Premium can be found on the Department of Education web site.

The impact of our spending plan of both pupil premium and sports funding can be clearly seen in our year on year improved attainment in Y2 and Y6 nationally published assessment information. [See National Assessment page]
PE, Sports funding
The government is providing additional funding for schools to improve provision of physical education (PE) and sport in primary school.
This funding - provided jointly by the Departments for Education, Health and Culture, Media and Sport - will be allocated to primary school headteachers.
This funding is ring-fenced and therefore can only be spent on provision of PE and sport in schools.
An increasing number of children have taken up sport activities outside school as we have developed links with external sports providers and coaches.
Wigan Sports Development will take all classes for PE and support our after school sports sessions.
Our PE lead will co-ordinate sports activities and develop more inter school sport sessions.
For a more detailed breakdown of how funding all our pupil premium and sports funding is targeted see the link above.
