Hello,
As you may already know, we are introducing a new phonics teaching scheme across EYFS and KS1, called Monster Phonics. As part of this, we have a brand new selection of home reading books for Reception, Y1 and Y2 which will be sent home Friday 23rd September. Y1 and Y2 also have new spelling homework books which will be sent home on Wednesday 21st September, and then every Friday moving forward. We will send out more information regarding homework for your child's class next week.
We would also like to invite Reception, Y1 and Y2 parents and carers to a Phonics Workshop on Thursday 29th September at 3:25pm in the school hall. You will be able to find out more about our new phonics scheme, explore our new reading resources and find out how you can best support your child with their reading at home.
